Robert Jacobs is an associate professor at the Hiroshima Peace Institute of Hiroshima City University in Hiroshima, Japan. He works on social and cultural aspects of nuclear technologies, and is interested in how exposure to radiation has affected people, families and communities and also how nuclear technologies have altered people’s social, religious and scientific constructions of their own realities.
